Edward Cating is a landscape and portrait painter based in Ridgway, Colorado, on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains.
Formally trained at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, his practice moves between observation and abstraction—allowing figures, places, and memories to surface through layered color and gesture.
Studio and gallery visits in Ridgway are welcome by arrangement.
